Rugby Union Club.
A warm welcome to all players and families new and old to the 2008 Carey Rugby season.
This is the second year in the history of Carey Rugby that we are able to proudly field two teams, namely the First XV and the U16 teams.
In addition, after going through last season undefeated in 2nd Division and winning a thrilling Grand Final, the First XV this year will be playing in the 1st Division. This is a wonderful acknowledgment of the determination and commitment of our players past and present and an indication of the growth and future of Carey Rugby. We are more than confident our boys are up to the challenge of 1st Division, and look forward to a thrilling season full of that famous Carey Rugby spirit.

Information Sheets for the 1st XV New Zealand tour that is due to take place next June/July that will include current Year 9/10/11 boys can be found on the Publications & Handouts page. This will be Carey rugby’s first international tour. More information can be found on the eNewsletters.
CLUB AIM & OBJECTIVES

The Aim of this club shall be to promote and support the game of Rugby Union in the school community.

The objectives of the club are to:
* Support the players and coach/es of the Carey Rugby Union team/s on and off the field.
* Encourage involvement of more students in the game
* Stimulate interest in the game of rugby union in the school community (especially in Middle and Senior School)
* Fundraise for the rugby union team to assist the school with the funding of the team uniforms, equipment, tours and facilities
* Encourage the school to establish a home ground within the school sports area
* Encourage membership of the club
